I am proudly supporting Assemblyman Jared Huffman to replace Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey.
Jared's efforts for California public education make him an obvious choice.
A recent graduate of Terra Linda High School, I am closely tied to the local public education system. The numerous Assembly bills Jared has authored or co-authored to increase funding and flexibility for local schools, combined with his proven record have earned him my full support.
Jared's efforts for higher education have also guaranteed him my vote. He has fought for increased scholarships that will allow students from middle-class California families to attend the UC or CSU systems, where tuition is climbing and financial aid is increasingly difficult to obtain.
I am excited to have a candidate who has worked as hard as Jared for our local schools.
