Democratic Assemblyman Jared Huffman is a gracious, civil, educated legislator with great legal and environmental credentials.
His civility has led to bipartisan results. Working with his colleagues — a commodity that is certainly needed today — he will be a very effective member of Congress.
The new Open Primary voting system, which Leon Panetta, I and others developed and sponsored a few years back, gives all voters a choice and a voice in June.
All voters, regardless of party or no party, can vote in June for the candidate who will be the best and most effective representative for this new expansive congressional district.
That candidate is Jared Huffman. No one else comes close in experience and effectiveness.
